Undergraduate Research Assistant

I am currently pursuing my undergraduate studies at BYU, with an anticipated graduation date of April 2025, where I aim to earn a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Since May 2023, I've been a member of the Bioheat Lab, contributing to the Shape Memory Alloy and Focused Ultrasound team. Within this lab, my focus has been on the development of a stent capable of intra-body expansion using Focused Ultrasound, aimed at minimizing tissue damage, and preventing restenosis. Post-graduation, I plan on continuing my education with a master's degree in mechanical/biomedical engineering. Beyond academics, I enjoy staying active through sports and outdoor activities, particularly basketball, volleyball and disc golf.
