Caio Farias

I am a senior at Brigham Young University studying mechanical engineering. I have worked in the Bioheat Transfer Lab since spring 2022. During my time in the lab, I have had the opportunity to work on the data acquisition and post-processing of temperature-dependent thermal properties and in developing a computational model that calculates conduction and convection using finite difference methods to predict the of High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound surgeries. I plan on attending graduate school next year. And I enjoy playing sports, especially soccer, and watching movies.
